The first time I listened to the new Green Day CD, I wasn't very impressed.
However, the same thing also happened with Korn's first album, and now it's my favorite Korn album of all. I can listen to it over and over again and not get tired of it. The same thing has happened with 'American Idiot'.
There is something about the way Billy Joel Armstrong's voice flows, growls, snarls, and produces sound period. The album is extremely well done, and I happen to like it. I like it a lot. Dare I say, in fact, I love it. I think that the concept is new and fresh, and I find myself captivated by St. Jimmy, and Jesus of Suburbia. The theme of this album is fantastic, and I commend them for it. Green Day is a band that started off many newer musicians careers. 'Welcome To Paradise' is often quoted as being one of the first songs many guitarists learn to play. For that alone, Green Day deserve respect.
I may not agree with all of their political agendas, but I do respect them.
Last night was absolutely divine, and I have been grinning all day because of it.
Though I feel like I'm struggling to stay who I am while adjusting to an ever changing life, I find the new challenges comming my way refreshing.
This year has had an insane amount of twist and turns. While I wish I could retrace many of them, I wouldn't dare for most.
I find myself being the confident of many people(a.k.a. every member of the band Nothing and many of those associated). While at times the weight can be difficult to hold, I welcome it. I want to always be available to people, and I want them to feel safe with me. I love my friends. I love Angela, I love Sam, I love Natalya, I love Vince, I love Greg. I have never felt so comfortable being the weirdo I am then when I am with them. I feel all warm and girly inside.

I should have gone to bed hours ago.
